Condos and other Affordable Homes in Prescott’s Best Neighborhoods
Sometimes buying in some of Prescott’s most desirable neighborhoods can be costly. There is a premium on neighborhoods that are close to downtown, but feel “oh so far away.” These neighborhoods – like Hidden Valley Ranch and the Hassayampa – offer beautiful views of pine trees and mountains and the feel of cabin living. They are close to the Prescott National Forest and loads of outdoor recreation. They offer amenities like swimming pools and tennis courts and really wonderful neighbors – I know from experience!
Luckily, there are more affordable options! Many of these neighborhoods have townhomes, condos or smaller single family homes that offer the best of all worlds.
Homes in the pines and boulders of Prescott under $340,000
Southwest Prescott is where you want to look for homes in the pines and boulders. These are often older homes, and they may need some re-modeling, but you absolutely cannot beat the location. You will find pine trees, mountain views, boulders and outcroppings where wildlife abounds. Close by is the Prescott National Forest, where you can hike, shoot, and bike to your heart’s content. And downtown Prescott, with all it has to offer, is just a few minutes away.
